Singapore Camp

Dearest members,

SIF will be organising a camp called Camp Singapore from 17 July to 29 July 2008. We are looking for volunteers who will be back in Singapore during that time and would like to volunteer with us.

Camp Singapore 2008, organised by the Singapore International Foundation aims to help students from Singapore living overseas to learn something about Singapore’s history, beliefs, cultural practices and festivals celebrated by many ethnic groups. The students will also get a chance to sample local school life, and find out about local society in general. Learning is experiential and conducted through a host of fun indoor and outdoor activities.

SIF is currently looking for youths who are interested in working with children during the Camp, and to help facilitate activities. If you are interested in having a chance to teach children about Singapore’s traditions, culture and history, fill in the form and sign up now!
Please fill up the volunteer application form and post/fax/email them to the camp coordinator Mr Joseph Lee (email: joseph.lee@sif.org,sg, Tel: +65 68378761, fax: 65 6831 8711). The camp coordinator will contact the volunteers directly with more details.
If any of your members have any questions regarding the camp, you can contact the camp coordinator via email.

Regards,
