Singapore Community Day 2007

Hi SSA members!!

Hope alls well with you guyz with the upcomin exams and whatnots of it all!!

As some of you may know that this year, SSA will be making a trip up north to sunny Brisbane for the Singapore Community Day 2007 which is organised by the High Commission! It'll be held from the 22nd and 23rd September 2007.

Community Day is an annual event when Singaporeans all over Australia come together to hang out, network, play golf, makan and of course, meet the High Commissioner, His Excellency Mr. Eddie Teo.

The plan is we'll fly up on the 22nd (Saturday morning) and head back to Sydney on the 24th (Monday night) so apart from the "makan besar" on the 23rd, the rest of the time is FREE for you to explore Brisbane! Such as MovieWorld, DreamWorld, SeaWorld and WetnWild World!

Sounds like a real ripper but lucky for us the SIF will be subsidising us and with an AWESOME price of the whole lot goes:

- $225 (for members)
- $275 (for your other mates!)

To sum it all up we've got:

What's happening: Singapore Community Day 2007

When: 22-24 September 2007

Where: Brisbane

Cost: $225 for members, $275 for non-members

How to go:

- Fly in to Brisbane 22nd Sept from Sydney
- Makan Besar on 23rd Sept
- Fly out 24th Sept from Brisbane
- 2 nights budget accom (22nd + 23rd) provided
- Everything else is up to you!

Closing Date: 8th September!!!

So hurry ladies and gents! Due to the short of time, it'll be heaps great if you're interested!!

and contact me: Pam (0402-039-135) or pop me an email: pamelatsui@hotmail.com

Hope to hear from you soon!!! and take care. =)

Message from the President: Welcome to the SSAM blog network

Welcome people to SSAM.

Our main purpose here is to of course create a sense of common identity among Singaporean students in Macquarie University and to serve fellow Singaporean students' needs.

As our committee has been undergoing major revamp, well together with the club, we would like to thank both current and new members for their support and beleif. Being new ourselves, we are sure to draw out our activities to bring members together and believe me, have a good time.

So, if you have further enquiries, or best still, you have fellow Singaporean students( or even non sg!) who are still wondering where we are, feel free to contact me at this number 0430203958. New members application is just $10 and not forgetting a whole wide range of activities that awaits every members !!
